Kiarah Freeman:
Well, first let me start off by saying, this project isn't really hard, it's just a lot. Although, I usually just get frustrated and give up, I saw myself really working harder and pushing myself after receiving it. I honestly have learned a lot. It made me really go in depth into some things that otherwise would have been forgotten after I was finished with this class. Well, honestly I had already forgotten most of it, so this was a nice little reminder and refresher. When we took our walk outside and did different photographs it gave me a chance to see a lot of things we talk about in class actually in nature and in action.
I think the best and worst part were that my partners were picked. Now, don't get me wrong, I had an amazing group and it was good for me to get out from among my usual two. Even though, I would have been more secure, I was forced to adapt. In the end , I think it was a splendid idea. It was good for me to have to learn to adapt with something different and different people. Overall, I was definitely pushed out of my little comfort box and it was good. I strongly believe that this project was something positive for all of us.
Anahi Barron:
While working on the STEAM project, I was able to look further into a subject using creative ways and ideas. The project was a good different way to present a topic to the class. It made it easier to learn, in a way, through visuals. Although it was much work, it was still simple, especially when given the opportunity to work in groups. Being able to compare my subject, Biological Systems and Processes, to objects we see every day, made understanding easier.
I think the project was a good way to end the school year. It has, very well, kept us busy the past few weeks and has been a good way to earn grades at the end of the year.
Terie Young:
This project was so interesting and helpful to understand my ten words in deeper terms. I now know my terms in relations to images, articles, and even in real life. Plants have a vascular system to a distinctive-shoot system. Also, I have learned the components of the skeletal system. this project will definitely prepare me for my career as a pediatrician.
Also, this assignment helped me better collaborate with a group. I've learned that you are not always going to work best with everyone, but I still have to communicate to pursue in this project. Through difficulties, at the end of the day, it all comes down to the work we have to present, so we might as well make the best of it.
